Color System

Aavya uses a dual-theme color system anchored by Aavya Blue as the primary color, with Electric Violet and Mint Green as secondary accents shared across both modes.

Brand Colors
Primary and secondary accent colors used in both dark and light themes.

Aavya Blue

Primary — Main actions, focus states, brand identity

Electric Violet

Secondary Accent — Highlights, emphasis, connection lines

Mint Green

Secondary Accent — Success, data flow, safe status

Dark Mode Palette (Primary)
For cinematic video, hero images, and high-tech storytelling.

Deep Background

Darkest foundation, near-black indigo

Mid-Ground

Floating panels, secondary layers

Lighter Surface

Top-level elements, highlights

Text Primary

Soft White — slightly desaturated

Text Secondary

Cool Grey — supporting text

Visual Effects (Dark)

  • Lighting: Embedded rather than directional. Objects glow from within.
  • Glassmorphism: Semi-transparent layers with background blur for depth.
  • Glows: Subtle outer glows (Electric Violet) to separate dark objects from dark backgrounds.
Light Mode Palette (Secondary)
For documentation, process diagrams, and daylight social content.

Deep Background

Off-White / Cool Grey — never pure white for backgrounds

Cards / Surfaces

Pure White — floating panels for separation

Stroke / Border

Light Cool Grey — defines edges

Text Primary

Dark Indigo — maximum contrast and brand cohesion

Text Secondary

Slate Grey — supporting text

Visual Effects (Light)

  • Shadows: Soft, diffused drop shadows (#0B0620 at 5-10% opacity) for the “floating” effect.
  • Translucency: Frosted glass effect — white overlays at 80% opacity with high background blur.
  • Contrast: Crisp borders and clean lines rather than ambient lighting.
Prohibited Colors (Branding & Imagery)
These colors are forbidden in brand imagery, marketing assets, and visual design. Standard UI components (error states, form validation) may use conventional warm colors.
