Logo System

Use the right mark in the right context. This page defines hierarchy, selection logic, and governance standards for consistent brand expression.

Choose the Right Logo
Follow this decision tree before placing a mark in product or marketing layouts.

Step 1

Is the background dark?

Yes: use the dark background logo.

Step 2

Is color unavailable?

Yes: use monochrome for one-color output.

Step 3

Is space constrained?

If full logo cannot fit, evaluate logo mark restrictions.

Default

Use Primary Logo

If no exception applies, primary logo is the default.

Aavya logo mark

Primary Logo

Default

Use this by default across product, web, and marketing when full color is supported.

Best for: Landing pages, dashboards, product headers, and sales materials.

Dark Background Logo

Contrast

Use on dark or saturated surfaces to preserve legibility and brand clarity.

Best for: Hero sections, dark mode UI, video covers, and dark campaign creative.

Monochrome Logo

One-Color

Use when color is unavailable, including engraving, embossing, and single-ink print.

Best for: Vendor print workflows, legal docs, and low-ink environments.

Wordmark

Text-Only

Use when horizontal space is available and icon repetition would add visual noise.

Best for: Navigation bars, legal/footer lockups, and partner attribution rows.

Logo Mark

Restricted

Use only in constrained spaces where the full logo already appears in context.

Best for: Favicons, compact app surfaces, and repeated product UI markers.

Usage Standards
Governance rules for clear space, sizing, contrast, and placement.

Clear Space

1x mark height

Maintain a minimum buffer of 1x mark height on all sides. No text or graphics may enter this area.

Minimum Size

24px digital / 8mm print

Never render below minimum size. If space is too small, use the logo mark only where permitted.

Contrast

AA minimum

Always meet accessible contrast against the background. If contrast is weak, switch to dark or monochrome.

Placement

Stable edges

Anchor logos to consistent top-left or center positions. Avoid floating placements that shift per screen.

Logo Mark Restrictions
The mark is not a full replacement for the wordmark in high-visibility contexts.

Allowed

  • Product UI where full logo appears nearby.
  • Favicons, app icons, and compact navigation surfaces.
  • Repeated iconography in established branded environments.

Not Allowed

  • Campaign hero headers and paid social ads.
  • Partner lockups, legal signatures, and press releases.
  • Any first-touch context where brand attribution is required.
Incorrect Usage
Common misuse patterns that reduce recognition and visual consistency.

Do not stretch, condense, rotate, or skew the logo.

Do not add glow, shadow, stroke, bevel, or texture effects.

Do not place the logo on busy imagery without a contrast container.

Do not swap brand colors for non-approved hues.

Do not recreate the logo with typed text or custom geometry.

Do not use the logo mark as the primary brand identifier in campaigns.
